Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of StartOps, operated by Curate Labs AI, including the website at https://startops.sh, the StartOps MCP server, Claude connectors, and the StartOps ChatGPT app. By creating an account, connecting StartOps in Claude or ChatGPT, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.

StartOps provides founder operating memory and related tools so you and your AI assistants can keep workspace context, draft and review work, and act from readiness. Features may change as we improve the product. Preview or beta capabilities may be incomplete, change without notice, or be withdrawn.

You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure. Workspaces you create or join may contain business records shared with other members. You are responsible for the people you invite, the permissions you grant, and the content stored in your workspaces.

You agree not to:

• Use StartOps for unlawful, harmful, or deceptive activity.
• Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, or plan limits.
• Probe, disrupt, or overload the service except through approved testing channels.
• Upload or store content you do not have rights to use.
• Resell or misrepresent StartOps as your own product without permission.

You retain ownership of the content and business records you submit. You grant StartOps a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate and improve the service for you. Durable writes through connected AI assistants and MCP require your confirmation as implemented by the product.

StartOps offers Free and Paid workspace plans. Paid pricing is shown on the pricing section of the website and in the product. Fees are billed through Clerk Billing (and its payment processor). Taxes may apply. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period begins. We may change prices with notice for future periods.

StartOps integrates with third parties such as Clerk, Convex, Vercel, OpenAI/ChatGPT, and Anthropic/Claude when you connect them. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or how those providers process data outside StartOps' control.

StartOps provides software tools and operating memory. It does not provide legal, financial, tax, regulatory, or professional advice. Outputs drafted with AI assistants may be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing, confirming, and acting on decisions for your business.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StartOps and Curate Labs AI are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost- profits damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the workspace at issue in the three months before the claim or (b) fifty U.S. dollars ($50).

You may stop using StartOps at any time. Workspace admins may delete the workspace from Manage workspace, or request workspace deletion through support. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk to the service or other users, or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision.
